1. Bourke Hill - As noted in an earlier newsletter, we are trying to collect evidence of Bourke Hill being used regularly as a footpath. To register it formally we need at least 20 people who regularly use it to complete a form detailing their use. At the current time we have only 3 completed forms. Will anyone who uses the pathway regularly please contact chipsteadra.planning@gmail.com and we will let you have a form to complete.

If we cannot collect sufficient evidence to show that this way has regularly been used as a footpath for the last 20 years, we will be unable to progress any application. Anyone who has already completed a form does not need to contact us again.

Outcome of Previous Applications

1. LBC 22/04337/F – 27 Woodfield Hill Coulsdon - To demolish the existing house and erect 4 x 4-bed terraced dwellings and 2 x 4-bed detached dwellings with associated provision.

Awaiting decision.

2. 22/02169/F – The Orchard Garden Walk Hooley – Demolition of outbuildings and the erection of a detached dwelling with accommodation within the roof space with formation of new vehicular access from Church Lane and parking.

Awaiting decision.

3. 22/02292/HH - Brambledown Church Lane Hooley - Proposed part single, part two storey rear and side extension. Proposed garage extension, new canopy over front porch and reinstatement of existing chimney. As amended on 24/10/2022; 11/11/2022 and on 18/11/2022.

Objections submitted. Permission granted.

4. 22/01461/FUL – Wildwood and Green Linnets Outwood Lane Chipstead – Proposals are for 4 new 4 bed, semi-detached houses on the rear plot of land at the existing dwellings. Proposals will include a new driveway link from Outwood Lane up to the rear site and associated parking. The existing conservatory serving Green Linnets will be demolished.

5. 22/00378/S73 - Hedgeside Walpole Avenue Chipstead Surrey CR5 3PP - Construction of 2 new detached 2 storey properties with new site access and arboricultural works off Hazel Way. Variation of Condition 1 of Permission: 18/00213/F - Amendments to include the provision of two separate accesses from Hazel Way and alterations to the landscape scheme. Amended plans 4/7/2022 and 24/01/23

Further comments have been submitted. Awaiting decision.

6. 22/01084/F – Longshaw Stables Hazelwood Lane – Conversion of the stables to one single storey dwelling with associated works. Amendments 7/7/2022.

Permission granted.

7. LB Croydon - 22/00655/FUL – 25 Woodfield Hill - Demolition of a single dwelling and erection of 2 apartment blocks comprising 9 residential units with associated access alterations, car/cycle parking and landscaping works.

An appeal has been lodged for non-determination within time allowed. Awaiting decision.

8. LB Croydon – 22/01464/FUL – 31 Hollymeoak Road - Demolition of the existing house and side garage and erection of four storey building to provide 8 units with associated new vehicular access, car parking, cycle/refuse storage and soft/hard landscaping.

Objections submitted - the application is over 26 weeks old and under article 40 of the Town and Country Planning (Development Management Procedure) Order work has ceased on the application and it is marked as “finally disposed of”.

9. 19/02269/DET07 – Rowans Hill Coulsdon Lane Chipstead – Submission of travel plan details pursuant to condition 7 of appeal permission 19/02269/F. Change of use to an independent special school for children with autism and related special educational needs and disabilities, with the provision of ancillary facilities including a playground, noise barriers and canopy and additional planting. As amended on 06/07/2021 and 04/11/2021.

10. 21/02795/S73 – McCarthy & Stone development Outwood Lane - This application seeks removal of condition 14 of Permission 19/02583/S73 - ie. the proposed extended footway, and the proposed pedestrian crossing facility comprising a central refuge island, dropped kerbs, tactile paving, and associated road markings and carriageway widening, on Outwood Lane. As amended on 10/01/2022

11. 20/02362/F – Prospect Wells House Outwood Lane Chipstead – Demolition and erection of 3-storey residential building with 16 flats with associated access and works. As amended on 05/01/2021.
