Presidents Note - Setting the Bar High and ABTEC5000
February is starting off well, which includes travelling across the province:
- My ASTech Presentation in Calgary, ended up with an enjoyable work-visit at Mobsquad Cafe-bar and tech co-work space. The Mobsquad facility was supported by both provincial and federal government, and what a beautiful location. Up on the 21st floor - the bar has been set high!
- Alberta Tech SME's continuing to hire - ABTEC 5000: With the continued requests Technology Alberta is receiving from Alberta Tech Small-to-Medium Sized Businesses to promote their hiring, we are pleased to raise the profile of these career opportunities up a notch - bringing the "ABTEC 4000" feature up to "ABTEC 5000".
And lastly, thank you all for your continued nominations for Alberta Cornerstone Technology Companies! Whether through emails being sent directly to president@technologyalberta.ca or linked-in postings, we have seen some great companies nominated!
