Breaking down language barriers and ensuring the involvement of different regions is key to democratising sport and development. Towards this end, we are pleased to announce a new partnership with the Qatar Fund for Development to provide Arabic-language resources and increase access to sport for development in the Middle East and North Africa. 

Further, sport for development needs to move beyond being in a perpetual defensive mode, which has sometimes led to stagnation in the sector, as Shreyas Rao argues in an engaging commentary article.
