SLS Insurance Program

Participating in surf lifesaving, surf sports and rescue activities can be risky and sometimes hazardous. During times where members are unfortunately injured during participation in authorised activities, SLST maintains a Personal Accident Insurance policy on behalf of members.

State-wide Carnivals - Round 4

With three Statewide carnivals finalised the point scores for the Juniors is producing some interesting results. Burnie and Clifton Beach continue to hold off a group of clubs including a resurgent Penguin, Port Sorell and Carlton Park. Bridport, Devonport and Ulverstone are not far behind.

With the State Junior Titles at Penguin late February interest will focus on the host club taking a win.

Clifton Beach have had the better of Burnie so far this year in the Seniors and with a ‘home ground” advantage at the next statewide carnival Clifton will want to hold their form. Most clubs are pulling out relics from the past to compete in master events and bolster points.
