A revolution is taking place. It is a revolution which is being precipitated by a sobering realization that every member is a minister. And every minister is gifted by God with a grace gift that allows them to serve others distinctly for Jesus sake. All saved people have at least one spiritual gift and with that gift they glorify God in the power of the Holy Spirit.
Be a part of this revolution from religious complacency and submit personally to God’s specific strategy for your life.
So often we rattle off with confident familiarity and tremendous rapidity those verses from Jeremiah 29:11 that tell us about God having good plans for our lives and certainly, He does have good plans in Christ Jesus!
However, it takes more than just simply knowing. It also takes showing God that you really do mean business with Him. I challenge you to submit to His plan by submitting to His direction for your life. Say to the Lord, “Here am I, send me.”
Take each day as it comes and make sure that you are staying in step with the God of the ages and remain committed to standing steadfastly upon His Word and are incessantly applying it to your life.
Don’t allow yourself to just become a hearer of the word but also be a doer of the word. “Let the word of Christ dwell richly in you…” (Colossians 3:16).
If Jesus tarries His return for the church until Sunday, I plan to see you and yours in the House of the Lord. In America, Sunday, by and large is no longer looked upon as the Lord’s Day. It’s “do everything else day”.
Determine now that you will not forsake the assembling of yourselves together but rather you will be in church becoming better equipped to do ministry.
No doubt about it, this is God’s plan for us all. Let’s get with it while there’s still time to do so. The night is coming when no man can work. Jesus is coming soon. Let the Lord praised as we simply continue on…
