Support OLLI for UA Giving Day
Feb. 22 & 23, 2023
OLLI's Advisory Board and Program Director challenge you to give a financial gift to support OLLI during this month's UA Giving Day on February 22 and 23. We'll match gifts up to a total of $4,000!
Be aware that any gifts made before Feb. 21 may not be counted towards Giving Day, so if you were planning on making a donation soon, you may want to wait a little bit!

Remember that YOU are what makes OLLI possible, and we're incredibly thankful that you choose to spend your time and money on a program that you value. Your volunteer efforts and donations help us keep our membership and tuition prices low and affordable, and allow us to offer reduced-price financial hardship membership to those who need it.
Our fundraising goal for fiscal year 2023 (July 2022 - June 2023) is $37,000 (spendable). We're currently sitting at $25,747 now. THANK YOU!

Do You Want to Teach for OLLI?
Do you have a great idea for an OLLI course? Or maybe you might have skill or knowledge you want to share, but aren't sure how to organize a course? Want to take OLLI courses for free? Instructors are volunteers but get to take as many classes as they want free during the semester in which they teach!

Parking
A UAF permit is required to park anywhere in the lots around the UPark building, including the handicap spaces. You can purchase a permit for $12 at the OLLI office, good for the entire spring term. You'll need to bring your license plate number and vehicle description. You can also purchase an OLLI parking permit online here. OLLI does not have the power to give or forgive parking citations, and we are not told when Parking Services will be patrolling the lots.

Interested in Another Birding Opportunity?
Do you enjoy watching and identifying birds, or are you an avid birder? Summer Sessions has limited space in a four day birding trip to Nome, May 29 - June 2 at the height of the migration!
Previous trips have spotted 99 different species over a three day period of time. Program will be led by Philip Martin and limited to a total of 8 participants who will be staying at the Aurora Inn. Cost for the program is $1600/person double occupancy which covers room and tuition. Airline fare and food are not included. A $500 non-refundable deposit will hold your place.
