Hello West Colfax Neighbors!
The WeCAN organization would like to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to Officer Robert Gibbs, for serving the West Colfax neighborhood as our Community Resource Officer (CRO) for the last several years. Officer Gibbs will be moving into a new position within the Denver Police Department, and we wish him the very best! WeCAN welcomes our new CROs, Technicians Amanda Grodman and Kaylan Campbell, who will be at our March 14th General Meeting to introduce themselves.
Also this month’s March 14 General Meeting, West Colfax residents will be approving the 2023 WeCAN Board of Directors. These neighbors have graciously volunteered their time, passion and skills to keep the organization running behind the scenes. The Park People start with the importance of the urban forest, journey deep into the roots of tree biology, and then branch back out to the mechanics of tree planting and care.

District 1 Citizen’s Advisory Group (CAG)
CAG meetings are held on the third Monday of every month at 6:00 PM at the District 1 Station, 1311 West 46th Ave. 80211, or virtually on the Microsoft Teams Application.
The CAG meeting is designed for the Northwest community. Hear about the statistics for the entire district and ask the Commander your specific questions. It’s a great opportunity to meet your local Denver Police officers, while staying informed.
