    We started this new year off with exciting happenings at Camp Refuge. Several months ago we asked you to pray with us for the needed funds to finish the camp. Two of our supporting churches helped in an incredible way, and the work is being done! I want to say a special thank you to Silverville Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church for helping with this project. There are too many individuals and churches to mention all by name, but we are so thankful for each and every one of you who have contributed to Camp Refuge since the beginning. Just as we were finishing the work, a group of 42 teenagers came during their winter break with an Indian missionary who is doing a great work with youth in Kathmandu. It was such a blessing to see the camp being used to its full potential. We pray that it will continue to be used to further the gospel in Nepal for decades to come!

    This past month, we also had an opportunity to reconnect with a lady who previously worked for our family. Because of our furlough in the states last year we had not gotten to see her in over two years. Nirmala is a Hindu lady who has spent countless hours with our family and has been to several church services at Beginnings Baptist Church. She has heard the gospel many times but has not shown any desire to follow Christ. Pray with us that God would continue to work in her life through and that she would see the hope we have in Jesus.

    As I continue to travel to the villages of the Terai, I have opportunity to take people along with me for ministry and discipleship. For the first trip of 2023, I got to take Jolynn along with me. I praise God for a family who loves the Lord and loves serving him in Nepal. Please pray for my children as they grow up on the mission field. Pray that God would use this time in their life in a special way to prepare them for life-long ministry where ever they land in this world.
