Hello Ham Farm Festival fans and supporters
We hope your year is going very well. We at HFF have been very busy planning HFF 2023 and applying for all the funding to make it happen - now we just wait and see if we get it!
While we all eagerly await news of HFF 2023 (28-30 July), Ham Farm Festival are, unusually, organising a single isolated concert on April 29th as well as our summer festival this year.
This concert is a collaboration between ourselves and West of England Music Alliance, WEMA*, where we'll watch a 30-minute spotlight concert by talented young performers from South Gloucestershire, have some drinks in the interval, and then the main act: world-class Colombian violin and guitar duo "Paco y Julian" as seen at HFF 2022 by the lucky ones who came to their incredible concert - we are delighted that they have agreed to return and headline this concert for us.
*this is the new umbrella body for South Gloucestershire Music Hub, which provides music tuition and ensembles to school children across the county

If you know a young musician who would like to apply to perform in this concert, contact WEMA directly about how to apply (this half of the concert is being run by them, so they select the performers, not us).

HFF is in the process of becoming a charity!
In order to apply for charitable status we’ve had to change our management structure: Three new Trustees, Deb, Mark and Myriam are joining Francisco and myself (Emily) on the board, and Vivien is stepping down.
Being a charity will open up more doors for funding and grant applications, and will mean we can collect Gift Aid on any donations, making it easier for us to put on these world-class concerts and amazing workshops at affordable prices (often free) year after year.

We will email again with news of our 2023 festival, and a ticket release date, as soon as we have confirmed the funding which will make it possible.
In the meantime, book tickets for April 29th and have a wonderful February!
