Inspired Life is excited to announce the addition of Heidi Goetzinger to our team. Heidi lives in Waverly, IA with her husband Chris and her three sons, Grady, Sawyer and Archie. She enjoys spending time as a family, golfing, running, reading, serving at their church in various capacities and volunteering at her sons’ school. She grew up in Waukon, Iowa before heading to Wartburg College where she received her bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts (Public Relations) and minors in business and leadership. After college, she held marketing and management positions at Mudd Advertising and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. She then found her passion for education while doing recruiting, event planning and management at Mount Mercy University. It was at this time that she received her master’s degree in higher education from Upper Iowa University. In recent years, she has been able to stay at home with her boys helping to raise them to be the young men that God created them to be.

As a ministry, we are focused on inspiring parents, children, and educators as well as improving the quality education that is offered to Iowa children. When this ministry began, we had no idea what the next few years would bring but we trusted God that He would use Inspired Life for His glory.
This is a unique time in Iowa's history for education in Iowa! We feel both excited and ready for the future state of education in Iowa

With the recent legislation passed in Iowa regarding Educational Savings Accounts (ESA) for families and the “Students First Act”, we are doing everything we can to learn about the details and innuendos of this new policy. We want to help provide resources for families as they navigate the new options and possibilities that are now available to them through this legislation. From the beginning, it has been our organizations desire that more moms, dads, aunts, uncles, and grandparents are proactive and intentional with the influences that are being brought into the hearts and minds of the children that are being entrusted to them by God.
Regardless of what anyone may think of this new legislation, there is no question it is opening the doorway for many parents and families to be more engaged in and empowered to think about how they want their children's hearts and minds to be shaped by their education. We are grateful for this, as we believe it is clearly a part of God’s design for those closest to the children God blesses us with to be the nurturers and shapers of their learning environments. We are confident this will be a unique and somewhat messy next few years as Iowans sort through the changing landscape of education, and we want to help make it as successful for all involved parties. We have already had many discussions with people all over the state wondering what this could mean for them.
We see it as no coincidence that God has called us into existence for “such a time as this”. Stay tuned for much more on this in the days ahead!
