Kate Glavan—one half of the Gen Z wellness podcast (and very good meme account) Sea Moss Girlies—lives by her influence. (If she’s endorsing a healthy product, it’s because she uses it and genuinely loves it.) I follow her for frequent running content and fits (she’s sponsored by Hoka) and all her favorite natural bevvies, powders, pills, and gummies for peak human-ing.

We gave Kate $1,000 to spend on any healthy product, service, and experience of her choosing for our latest Wellness Diaries installment. We wanted to see what a true influential person in wellness would splurge on.

She chose to drop some cash on LMNT watermelon salt electrolyte drink mixes, a few Huberman Lab-recommended supplements, lion’s mane mushroom powder, a beautiful vessel to make her own bone broth, and an at-home blood biomarker test.

PS: We’ll be sending a few readers some LMNT drink mixes! 🎉 🎉 Just hit reply telling me one of your favorite ways to hydrate, and we’ll send a variety pack to three random people who hit my inbox.

First Sightings header with a pouch of Parable Daily brain care powder

I’ve been scooping and whisking this daily brain care powder into my matcha each morning this week. I’m usually skeptical about nootropics, but Parable doesn’t classify itself as one. It’s focused more on long-term health over a quick boost. I also appreciate that all the active ingredients—like ginseng, green tea extract, and a smattering of B vitamins—in the powder are chosen by a team of neuroscientists. Anecdotally, I can’t say whether I’ve noticed a huge difference in how I feel, since it’s only been a week, but I have experienced a bit more mental clarity. Is that a placebo effect? Could be! But I’m intrigued by the product and trust the research, so I’m going to keep scoopin’ until I finish my pouch and see how consistent use affects my beautiful, aging brain. Also to note: Parable is intentionally tasteless, so from a culinary standpoint, it blends into my morning beverages pretty easily thanks to the accompanying whisk

A deal header with a collection of Huberman Lab supplements

Kate Glavan says she’s a huge Huberman Lab fan and has been curious to try his supplement recommendations. As part of her Wellness Diaries, she chose L-Theanine (relaxation and alertness), Magnesium Threonate (brain health), and Tyrosine (energy, motivation, and mood) from Huberman Lab’s Momentous collection. And we’re giving our readers 20% off products from the human performance brand with the code NESSIE20
