AFTD is pleased to announce a special support opportunity for people and families impacted by FTD in California.
AFTD Ambassador and donor Terry Walter has established the Steven Walter Fund for Hope and Support. Through this fund, AFTD is now making 24 additional Comstock Respite and Travel Grants available to California residents.
Comstock Respite Grants help full-time, unpaid care partners attend to their own emotional, psychological and physical well-being. Recipients may use the funds on respite care, mental health support, or self-care (yoga, exercise class) that best meets their needs. Comstock Travel Grants help to make it possible to attend the AFTD Education Conference or other FTD educational event approved by AFTD.
