Dear RIS community,
As we continue to celebrate the 65th anniversary of RIS, we would like to invite all our community members to our Fun Fair on Saturday, February 11th! The Fun Fair will be open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their extended family. It is an event we’re excited to host as it has been a long-standing RIS tradition, with the very first one dating back all the way to the 1960s.
The fair will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. where there will be numerous vendors, games, prizes, live musical performances, and sports matches, among other highlights. Godbout Turf will also feature a ferris wheel, bouncy castle, and merry-go-round.

As we look forward to the return of Fun Fair, kindly note the following important messages and reminders:
- MS and HS students are expected to be in attendance as it is an official school day. Attendance will be taken at 9:00 a.m. in front of the flagpole during the official opening assembly.
- ES students & their parents are welcome to drop by anytime between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We ask for ES families to remain with their elementary-aged children at all times as RIS personnel may be busy hosting fun games and getting a chance to explore the many offerings themselves.
- The canteen will be open as usual (in addition to the many food and drink options being offered at the fair). For ES students with set-lunches, parents may stop by at the small canteen to pick up a pre-packaged snack & lunch box for their child.
- All RIS community members who have RIS ID cards may use their ID passes to enter through the gates as usual.
- Other members of your family (who do not have RIS ID gate passes) are also welcome to attend. They will be asked upon arrival to register (via QR code) at gates 5, 7 or 8. They will be issued a visitor’s wristband to wear while on campus and returned upon departure. Visitor wristbands will also be used with attending alumni.
- School will be closed on Monday, February 13, as compensation for the Fun Fair.
We hope you take this wonderful opportunity to spend some quality time with your friends, colleagues, and family members... There’s fun to be had throughout the campus for all ages, and you won’t have to wear school uniform! Don’t miss out on the festivities to be remembered for years to come.
We look forward to seeing you there!
