Free TeXercise Zumba Classes

Location: Gregory Gym and Recreational Sports Center

Move to the combined rhythms of Latin and international music during our free Zumba TeXercise classes all month long. You will dance to pre-choreographed songs led by instructors in various routines that combine fast and slow rhythms to tone, sculpt and inspire. During the month of February, the Zumba classes listed below are open to all UT students and RecSports members. No TeXercise Pass is required, just reserve your spot up to seven days in advance.

  • Tuesdays, 2:30-3:30pm | GRE South with Natasha D.
  • Tuesdays & Thursdays, 4:30-5:30pm | RSC 1.106 with Allyson K.
  • Sundays, 2:00-3:00pm | GRE South with Natasha D.

Longhorn Run 2023

Dates: Saturday, April 1
Prices increase on Monday, Feb. 13

Join us for this annual campus tradition! Through the combined efforts of the Longhorn Run student committee and RecSports, Longhorn Run offers 5K and 10K races on the UT campus and surrounding areas, plus a virtual runner option where you can run from wherever you are. Proceeds from the event benefit the Student Government and Recreational Sports Excellence Funds.

Valentine's Massage Specials 

Dates: Valid for appointments scheduled through Feb. 19. 
Location: Wellness Center at Gregory Gym

RecSports invites you to treat yourself to a relaxing massage with our upcoming Valentine’s massage specials. 

  • Book a table massage and receive two free upgrades (your choice of aromatherapy, deep tissue, or hot towel).
  • Schedule a 15- or 30-minute chair massage and get a complimentary five-minute extended hand massage. 
  • Book any appointment during this promotional period and receive a complimentary gift bag during your session.

F45 Training Instructor Training Camps

Dates: Camps begin the first full week of March. Registration closes on Tuesday, March. 7

Join one of our five-week F45 Instructor Training Camps where you can learn to lead safe and effective F45 Training classes, teach a diverse group of participants, learn fundamental movements of exercise, and practice teaching a class from start to finish! The camps are open to current UT students and RecSports members.
