     Bishop Walsh will attend Friday night's basketball game and will lead the evening in prayer and special intentions for the Weaver family of Escanaba. Tara and Jerry Weaver were killed in a car crash last Friday on US-2 while driving to their son’s basketball game. They left behind three children, two of which are still at Escanaba High School. At the game, a collection will be taken and all donations as well as the proceeds of the 50/50 will be given to the family.
     Gaylord St. Mary and Lake Leelanau St. Mary girls and boys varsity teams will face each other under the nets, completing our Catholic Schools Week celebration. Girls game begins after prayer, Boys game will follow.
