This Sunday, February 5, we begin a 12-part evening series entitled Christian Sexuality. Join me from 5-5:45 pm in the sanctuary, during our usual C3 time slot, for teaching videos and discussion times that will speak candidly to many of the challenges we face in our rapidly changing society. I encourage all adults to attend, but please note that the material is best suited for high school and up. If you are the parent of a middle schooler and wonder if this might be appropriate for your son or daughter, please reach out to me, Caleb Horjus, or Shelley Kuipers for more information. To facilitate the attendance of younger families we are also providing activities in the gymnasium (with adult supervision) for elementary and middle school age children.
Just a reminder that the “Ask the Pastor” sermon series begins on February 26, and I’d love to receive your questions! If you have a question about Christian living, the Bible, etc. please email me or place your question in the drop box on the Connection Counter by February 12.
Lastly, the Grace & Truth Prayer Event kicks off this Monday, February 6. If you’re facing a difficult situation or seeking to discern how to move forward in a challenging relationship, this event is designed for you. The Prayer Room at church has been set up with stations that will guide your prayers and help you apply some of the truths we’ve been learning in our current sermon series.
