Join AMG for a virtual lunch-hour session with Chris Weber, UCLA Anderson Assistant Dean for Business Transformation, for our second professional skills series workshop, who will lead a discussion on how to effectively communicate your Value Proposition in Interviews.


Preparing for an interview requires knowing your value proposition, understanding what the employer is looking for, and shaping thoughtful, well-organized answers that demonstrate how you will help the company attain their goals.


During this hands-on session, we’ll discuss how to prepare for interviews and practice how to build responses that help you effectively communicate your value proposition to potential employers.

About the Speaker:


Chris serves as the Assistant Dean of Business Transformation for the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In this role, Chris leads the implementation efforts for the school’s strategic plan. He most recently served as the Director of Career Advising and Corporate Outreach in the Parker Career Management Center at UCLA Anderson and joined UCLA staff as an Associate Director of Career Advising at Parker in November 2013.


Prior to joining UCLA Anderson, Chris was a Manager in the Human Capital practice at Deloitte Consulting where he specialized in organizational design, and developing and implementing change management, training, communications and leadership alignment strategies. Chris previously served as the Vice President of Corporate and Revenue Development at United Way Silicon Valley, the Director of Development and Communications for the Billy DeFrank LGBT Community Center in San Jose, and as both a 2002 Bay Area Corps Member and a Recruitment Director for Teach For America.


Chris received a BA degree from Boston University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He currently serves as a commissioner on the Sustainable Burbank Commission and as a board member for the Burbank YMCA.
