Friend,

Happy New Year! This month we witnessed the historic inaugurations of Governor Maura Healey, Attorney General Andrea Campbell, and Auditor Diana Dizoglio. On January 4th I was sworn into my first full term as your Senator, and the Senate has begun work on the 193rd legislative session.
Swearing-In
Last year as your Senator, I voted on dozens of pieces of legislation, secured over $2 million in funding for your priorities, and brought our district together through food & music. As the 193rd legislative session begins, I'm ready for another two years working on your behalf.
I'm honored to be able to serve alongside four new Senators including, two new Senators of color, Sen. Pavel Payano, Sen. Liz Miranda, Sen. Paul Tucker, and Sen. Robyn Kennedy.

Moved to see the unveiling of the Embrace Statue this month on the Boston Common. An incredible tribute to Dr. King, his family, his work, and all we have left to accomplish. Thank you Embrace Boston’s executive director, Imari Paris Jeffries, and Hank Willis for your leadership.

A mother, a friend, a neighbor, and a resident of East Boston has been missing since November 26th, let’s put everything we have into finding her. Bring Reina home. Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is advised to contact 911 or A-7 Department at (617) 343-4324.
