Hello RoCo Friends! It's that time of year again! The City of Harriman is hosting the Miss Roane County Outstanding Teen, Miss Roane County, & Miss Greater Knoxville Scholarship Competitions on Saturday, Feb. 4 here in Harriman at the Princess Theatre. These competitions are local preliminaries to the Miss Tennessee Competition - a licensed org of Miss America. Miss Tennessee will take place in June 2023.

The SHRM Essentials of HR program provides an introductory overview of key HR topics & the fundamental issues surrounding HR to help you effectively approach the challenging issues & everyday situations that you face on the job.
Course fee: $499. Grants from the Department of Labor & the Appalachian Regional Commission may be available to eligible applicants. If you live in Anderson, Campbell, Cumberland, Fentress, Loudon Morgan, Roane or Scott county you may be eligible.

The Roane Alliance 2023 Online Auction
Our annual Online Auction is Feb 22-25! Funds raised support our mission to increase economic opportunities & programs for Roane County. We're looking for items like gift certificates/tickets, gift baskets, sporting goods, vintage items, etc. Donors will be listed on our website, Facebook event page, and at our annual fundraising Gala. To be included in promotions, please provide or commit your item(s) by Wednesday, Feb 8.
