FEBRUARY VENDOR UPDATES
Hello Friend-ors! Happy Friday! Just a few updates and reminders.

RENT
Reminder that February rent is being collected this Sunday. There are (4) weeks in February. Please have your payments ready. Please make sure to get a form from Amy if you would like to keep a credit card on file for auto-billing. 

FEB 12 VALENTINE MARKET
We are coordinating a raffle like we did last year. We are asking for donations for the basket. We will be selling raffle tickets online and day-of at our info booth. Proceeds go back to helping support the Market. As a reminder we are a 501c3 nonprofit organization and rely on community support.

Also, if you would like to have fun and decorate for Valentine's Day, please do! We will have a fun craft area by the info booth for the kiddos to make Valentines.

House of Hope is a wonderful nonprofit organization that offers support in basic needs like food, clothing, and financial assistance, and life skill programs, classes in education, health and nutrition, job readiness, the arts and more. They will be on site with their traveling garden as our featured non-profit for that week.

INSURANCE
Please make sure Amy has received your updated COI! All vendors must have insurance to be able to continue participation in February. This is a requirement from the City of Stuart. We do not want to risk our agreement with our major stake holder please.   
COI needs to have Stuart Main Street listed as additionally insured- 201 SW Flagler Ave, Stuart FL. 34994. 

KIDS MARKET
Our kiddos will be joining us this Sunday, please make them feel welcomed!

Several new kiddos have been added to our roster, that starting in February we will expand the Kids Market to the first and third Sunday of the month. 

EXTENDED HOURS
ALL VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO STAY TILL THE MARKET CLOSES AT 2PM! This will be in effect until the end of March then we will return to closing at 1pm April-September. Then in October 2023 we will stay open till 2pm-March. 

CUSTOMER FEEDBACK
PRICING AND SIGNAGE As a reminder it is required that each vendor has signage and pricing displayed for customers. We have received several complaints.
If you need help designing and printing signage, we are happy to assist.

You are required to provide receipts to your customers. I have received a few calls from customers who did not get a receipt. It's just good business to provide good customer service. 

LOST & FOUND
If you find a credit card or an item left by a customer, please turn it in to us so we can try and reach out to them. You should not hold onto these items unless you know the customer and have collected their information from a purchase. Please make us aware in case they reach out to Market management directly. 

KNOW WHAT THE MARKET OFFERS
If a customer asks you about a specific item they are looking for, please send them to the info booth or reach out to the Market phone: 772-285-0502.
We understand that you all work hard and work independently. It is not always easy to know what the market offers, especially since we are adding new vendors each week during the season.

WELLNESS PROGRAM
We are still working on new weekly "activities" for Feb/March 9-10am. If you know of anyone who would like to teach a wellness class, please have them email us!  Music will start playing at 10am and run until 2pm. We are also planning our 2023 special events calendar, let us know if you have any ideas! 

NOTE FROM CANDACE
As many of you know, our Instagram account has been compromised. I am working with our marketing team diligently to recover this account that we have worked so hard on creating. Our IT company has also added stronger additional security measures to avoid these situations from happening in the future. Please bear with us as we work to recover our account.
Please do not engage with the page as it may jeopardize our chances of recovery. We would rather recover our page, than create a new one because we will lose useful marketing data. Which is an added expense to our organization.

Please note that our organization's email addresses end in .ORG and our email signature is always included in our emails. We do not have a gmail, yahoo or any other account for the market. If you see anything unusual, please reach out to me directly at director@stuartmainstreet.org so I can report it. 

We are planning to print and disperse more $5 Market Green coupons at the end of February and March. We did this back in October as a way to encourage new visitors. 
These work just like our gift certificates. Please only accept one per customer and visit. They will require a minimum spend amount. Write date and your name on back. You must turn them in by their expiration date for reimbursement.  
I am working with Martin County Tourism on a similar promotion for the Summer.
