We hope you are all well and getting out into the park this winter. A very happy new year to you all.
We have a real treat for you this Saturday. Not one, but TWO birdwatching sessions for the RSPB's annual Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend.
Please join us 10am by the Frothy Coffee Hut for a birdwatching walk around the woods with the amazing James Newton from the Corbett Wildlife Society (10-11am). This is a great opportunity to see some of the more unusual birds that live in the park like goldcrests, woodpeckers and nuthatches, with our resident birdwatching expert.
And come to the Outdoor Learning Area for 11am for a Family Nature Day birdwatching special with the Secret Adventurers Club (11am-1pm). Children and parents/carers of all ages welcome to join us for nature arts and crafts, followed by a snack & drink with a story.
These events are both free (funded by Phoenix Housing) but donations are very welcome to our #parkplay appeal to improve the older children's play area.

Friday mornings, 10.30am-12.30pm.

Cafe
The Frothy Coffee Hut is open at weekends from 9am to 4pm in the Pavilion, serving hot and cold drinks, food and ice creams. Table tennis bats available to borrow. @frothycoffeehut
Toilets
The toilets are open daily over the summer and at weekends in the winter in the Pavilion. A key to the disabled toilet and baby change facilities is available - just ask any of the cafe staff next to the toilets.
