For many churches, Superbowl Sunday (Sunday February 12) is a time to host donation drives of soup and other non-perishables for local food pantries. We'll be doing some food drives later in the year... but this Superbowl Sunday, for our donation drive, we're taking our inspiration from the annual "Puppy Bowl" (also held each year on Superbowl Sunday)!

To celebrate Superbowl / Puppy Bowl Sunday, we're encouraging you to bring in donations of pet food to support the Animal Food Bank of the Lehigh Valley. At this time, the great needs are donations of dry cat food and small bags of dry dog food. Please bring in your donations on or before Sunday February 12. Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Each Ash Wednesday, our church labyrinth offers our congregation and community a powerful opportunity to enter the season of Lent through prayer. But setting up our labyrinth is a big job, one that requires many hands! If you would like to help with labyrinth setup during the week of February 19, please contact Pastor Candy.

Wesley's Youth Group is open to all youth from 6th through 12th grade. 

This Lent, Pastor Candy invites you to deepen your faith by discovering the faithful witness of those who have come before us in faith. How can you do that? By joining in "Lent Madness!" Lent Madness is a annual program which features 32 saints in a single-elimination tournament bracket. Lent Madness participants read the stories of these saints, vote online in each daily matchup, and follow the tournament all the way to Holy Week's "Golden Halo" finale. It's a way to deepen your faith but also have some fun, as Lent Madness is for Christians who want to take their faith -- but not themselves -- too seriously. 

Lent Madness is a free resource. Visit the website to learn more about the program and to sign up for regular emails throughout the Lenten season. To participate in Wesley Church's edition of Lent Madness, please contact Pastor Candy. You'll receive a bracket and a "Saintly Scorecard" (a booklet which includes background information on each of the 32 saints). Fill out your bracket with your predictions and return it to Pastor Candy by Tuesday February 21. The individual with the winning bracket will receive a special prize!  

Wesley Church and Mammy's Angels are once again teaming up to bring some Valentine's Day love and joy to seniors in our area! To view a list of needed items, or to sign up to donate items, please visit the sign up page. Help those who are experiencing homelessness by supporting the work of the Bethlehem Emergency Shelter (BES)! Once each month, we provide hot meals, monitor the shower schedule, and offer a loving presence to the guests of the shelter. We will be serving our next meal on Monday February 20. We'll be at the shelter from 4 PM to 9 PM, but shorter shifts are available to fit your schedule. To get involved, please contact our coordinator Becky Hess. 

It may be chilly or dreary outside right now, but in just a few months summer sun will be here! This summer, consider registering your child(ren) or grandchild(ren) for a life-changing, faith-forming week of summer camp at Pocono Plateau. Summer camp registration is now open! Visit the Plateau website to browse this year's camp offerings (including the GRAM & Me camp, directed by Pastor Candy!). Register by April 1 for a $25 discount.
