In the first of a three part virtual presentation series Ecological Landscape Designer Maya Goer-Palenzuela will highlight the unique characteristics of native pollinators which play an incredibly important role in the health of the ecosystem.  In light of global biodiversity decline it has become vitally important to learn about pollinators, and support and restore pollinator habitat.

The second presentation will engage the audience in how to choose native plants that support pollinators and how to set ourselves up for planting success by choosing plants best for the ecoregion. The third and final presentation will feature land management best practices to nurture habitat for pollinators.

Maya Goer-Palenzuela is a NY Botanical Garden certified Landscape Designer.  She designs native landscapes for her business Harmonyscape based in Stanfordville, NY.
