Anas (RA) reported: The Prophet ﷺ said, “Who in creation has the most astonishing faith?” They said, “The angels.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “But how could the angels not believe?” They said, “The prophets.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “But the prophets were given divine revelation, so how could they not believe?” They said, “Their companions.” The Prophet ﷺ said, “The companions were with their prophets, so how could they not believe? Rather, the people with the most astonishing faith are those who come after you and they find a book of divine revelation, thus they believe in it and follow it. They are the people with the most astonishing faith.” (Reported by Bazzar)
