Beloveds,

I am so excited for this coming Sunday. Immediately following worship, we will gather in the Multipurpose Room for our first servanthood (congregational) meeting of 2023! What is most exciting (besides the regular business we have to get done) is that 6 people have decided to make their official membership commitment to Riverside Baptist Church! You have seen many of them around already--volunteering with the Protein Pantry, attending Bible Studies, attending and participating in Sunday morning worship services, etc. 

With your vote of affirmation, we will welcome them fully into the life of our community. We will also be voting on our annual budget, selecting grant partners that we will bless with a financial gift, and discussing our vision for the year. Please do your best to be in attendance. If you can't make it in person, you can dial in at 701-779-9841. We will put you on speaker phone so that you can hear and speak. 

Join us for worship on Sunday, in-person and virtually (YouTube) at 10 AM. I'll be preaching about "Grasping for Favor." Masks are required unless eating or drinking.

Here at Riverside DC, we welcome new members into our community quarterly at our congregational meeting. Being a member at Riverside is not about following a creed or requiring you to be baptized or give a certain amount of money. Membership here is about community. We want to walk with you through the many seasons of your life, and for you feel like this place is home. And we want you to walk with us--to change us for the better, and to help us carry out Jesus' mission of liberation.

At Riverside, our one law is love of God and neighbor.  Justice matters, so we celebrate gender equality, racial diversity, and inclusion of all persons no matter their sexual orientation or gender identity. We draw the circle of God’s love large. You’re included.
