<<First Name>> are you like many this time of year suffering from lack of motivation?

It is more common than you think, January and February can be difficult months to get going and motivated. We start off really strong ath the beginning of January with our New Years Resolutions but for various reasons by the end of the month that drive has dwindled away… <<First Name>> rest assured you are not alone!


Some of this could be caused by stress, boredom, an overwhelmed feeling, or no distinct goals… but there are ways to get you going again… keep reading…


Firstly identify if this is you, do any of these sound familiar?


  • Difficulty getting started on tasks or projects

  • Procrastination

  • Lack of energy and enthusiasm

  • Disinterest in activities that were once enjoyed

  • Negative self-talk and self-doubt

  • Increased absenteeism or tardiness


You may have answered yes to one or more of these, so what can we do about it?


Small Goals - Break your day, week, month down into small achievable goals. Having something specific to work towards and being able to achieve it will keep you going.


e.g. Monday - 10 thousand steps

Tuesday - Pilates class

Wednesday - Walk to work

Thursday - Cook a balanced healthy, colourful meal

Friday - Write in your journal everything you have achieved, and how you feel this week.


Prioritise - Decide what is most important to you and priortise. Each day your priorities might be different but by doing this you will learn to do things that motivate you. Selfcare should be close to the top, so maybe aim to do something daily for you, it could be an hour long or 5 minutes long, the time is irrelavant but what matters is it is for you <<First Name>>.


Therapy or Coaching - Do not underestimate the powers of therapy or coaching. It is a game changer when you have somebody to talk everything through with. You do not need to be at the end of your tether,m or feel depressed to use these tools, many people from all different walks of life have therapists and coaches, most succesful business men and women are successful because they have this amazing service. Friendship - Try to buddy up with somebody, if you make a commitment, you are more likely to get started. So, go to that circuit class with your friend. Book that Retreat with your friend.
