A Message from President Anderson

The Brooklyn College community expresses solidarity with people across the country as we raise our voices against the horrific beating by Memphis police officers that led to the death of 29-year-old Black motorist Tyre Nichols. On our campus, we oppose police brutality and stand against hate of all kinds. Students who face grief or trauma caused by this tragic death can reach out to our Personal Counseling staff at bccounseling@gmail.com or call (718) 951-5363. Staff and faculty can call (800) 833-8707 for free counseling available to all CUNY employees. Let’s try to support one another as we strive for justice.
