This Week - The Details
What (Grades 6-7): 11a-12p in Room 204 (over the COTS Café). Final Week of Cheat Codes...What if there was something that weighed 0.0 lbs on the scale, but still had all the weight needed to lift someone up or hold them down? What if what we say and how we say it matters? Have others' words mattered to you?
What (Grade 8): 9:30a-12p. Meet in the Great Hall and pick up in the Jr Youth Room. Bring your Bibles. Explore Parents: Our next parent conversation will be Feb 5, 9:30-10:30a in Room 161.
What (Grades 9-12): 11a-12p in Sr Youth Room 207 (over the parlor). Final week of Pro Tip. What if everyone was given at a very young age something that could be used as a tool or a weapon? Something that could change someone's entire outlook for better or worse. Maybe you've been on the receiving end of what someone said. What if what we say and how we say it matters?
What (Grades 9-12): 12-2:30p in Sr Youth Room 207. 50 care packages. $1200. And 2.5 hours. Join us for lunch, then get busy making our graduates from the last few years know that they are remembered and loved. Plan what we want to buy, go buy it, then pack it up. It's fun and it has REAL impact. Bring a friend or two to experience it.
When: Sunday, Jan 29, times as indicated
Why: So we can grow in our faith to act on our faith.
How: Complete the COTS Kids & Youth Registration & Med Info form for this school year.

Practical Parenting Resource
Maybe you've got this one figured out in your household. Maybe you feel like it's too late. I found this article helpful.
"11 Tips for Setting New Screen Time Habits with Your Kids". Maybe they'll work for your fam, maybe they won't, but it's a good idea to be intentional about our decisions on this one.
