On the first Sunday of the month, Ethos will be taking place, starting at 5.00pm, instead of Generation Rising.

Ethos

Takes place at 5.00pm on the first Sunday of the month, and is restarting this Sunday (5 February).
This is a time for young people (Year 7+) to meet together, enjoy pizza and chat about important questions. This month's question is "Do we really have to tell the truth all the time?"

Hope Explored
Mondays 2.30pm-4.15pm at GBC
A 3 week course starting this Monday (6 February)
Booking required

Looking at the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus in Luke's Gospel, HOPE EXPLORED shows that Christianity is about real hope: a joyful expectation for the future, based on true events in the past, which changes everything about my present.

Whatever people do or don't believe, this course offers an opportunity to explore, to discuss, and to discover the hope, peace, and purpose Jesus offers. Especially good for those who are exploring or new to faith, so do invite friends or neighbours as you feel led.

Inspire - a creative space for adults
friends | refreshments | fun

Weekly on Friday mornings from 10.00am-12.00 midday
starts tomorrow (3 February) to 10 March.
Share - bring & continue a craft or project you're already working on
Learn - watch a craft demonstration at 10.20am then have a go!
Explore - enjoy the freedom to experiment on your own with materials provided
No need to book - all welcome!

Refresh
Saturday 11 February | 10.00am-12.30pm
(with the option of bringing own lunch, finish time 1.30pm)

An opportunity to come aside from the busyness of life, to rest, to meet with God and be refreshed. Our morning together will include a guided biblical reflection around the theme 'Lighting the Darkness' (based on Psalm 18: 28-29), space to explore and 'be', and optional creative activities.

This month our prayer focus is on Conflict and Peace, in particular remembering Ukraine as it will be one year since the conflict started. Further thoughts and information are available on the GBC outside notice board and on the website.

Tuesday Evening Bible Study
The Tuesday Evening Bible Study is cancelled for the next two weeks (7 & 14 February). Restarts on 21 February.

We ask that you do NOT park in East Chadley Lane or Lancaster Way and please also be careful not to park in front of the bus stop at the main road end of Tudor Road! Please check this separate e-mail which gives details of available free parking places in the locality and details of how to get a permit for the car park if you need one.
