General Director Opportunity

Dear friends,

As you heard in the Fall, we have begun looking for our next General Director to lead Frontier Lodge. As we prepare for another summer of impactful camp ministry, we wanted to take some time to share an update on the process with you.

Since the General Director is such a critical role, we’ve engaged Nelson / Kraft and Associates to support us in this process. Their expertise in leading and managing searches for ministries and their Spirit-filled approach has been a gift, and we’re excited about the opportunity profile that they’ve put together for us to circulate through our networks.

We invite you to read the Opportunity Profile and consider whether you, or someone you know, might be a good fit for Frontier Lodge as the next General Director.

We’ve witnessed the Lord provide for His ministry time and time again, and are trusting that He will provide what is needed for Frontier Lodge. Please pray that the Lord will provide the individual or family He would have to lead camp, and for His wisdom and discernment in this process.

Please also pray for our staff as they plan for another awesome and impactful summer at Frontier Lodge. Our summer hiring is already underway and we are excited that registrations for Day Camp and Overnight Camp are opening tomorrow at 3pm!

Are you a visionary, entrepreneurial, and highly relational leader with a heart for camp ministry? Frontier Lodge Christian Youth Camp is looking for their next General Director, and we’d love to hear from you!

The General Director of Frontier Lodge is a hands-on, senior Christian leader with a proven record in youth and camp ministries, not-for-profit organizations, private business, or a combination thereof. The General Director is an effective strategic planner who has proven communication, marketing, consultative, and interpersonal competencies. The role of the General Director is to provide leadership and direction to camp staff, ensure proper administration of the camp, and to liaise with the Board of Directors.
