Greetings MPI Upstate NY Members,
As I enter the second half of my Presidency term, I am very excited for the upcoming programs we have planned. The year was started with a fantastic, upbeat Virtual Wellness Event presented by Benita Zahn, certified health and wellness coach. Hearing how we can change our mindset and keep the emotional wolves at bay was a great way to start 2023 feeling energized, empowered and happy!
Please join us on March 30th at the Saratoga National Golf Club for our annual Gala which is themed Moonlight Masquerade Gala. So many great things are planned to include a silent auction, wine pull, 50/50 raffle, and all are encourage to wear your Masquerade attire. This is sure to be a great evening with colleagues, friends, and new connections.
Your membership and involvement are important to this chapter and we want to hear from you. Volunteering is a great opportunity to make new friends, grow in your career, learn, and have lots of laughs. Please consider volunteering with our chapter and always feel reach out to any board member for ideas, suggestions, and/or comments.
I look forward to a fantastic 2023 and am grateful for the board members, volunteers and members who all make this chapter successful!

At this time we are seeking items for the gala silent auction! Highlight your destination, product, or venue to a targeted audience of meeting professionals by donating an item to the auction. Coveted items include overnight stays, restaurant certificates, entertainment, and sports tickets.
We will be raising funds through the Frontstream/Panorama auction platform (formerly Bidding For Good), providing more exposure to the Bidding For Good community of auction patrons. The auction site has launched and will conclude on April 6, 2023, allowing time before and after the event to market all donated items.

Our Chapter Members have been invited to join the MPI Potomac Chapter CMP Prep Course. The Spring Session kicked off on February 21st, but not to worry - there will be more sessions held later this year.
This course offers on-demand content and Q&A sessions facilitated by experienced CMPs! This enables you to review the material at your own pace while getting the support of expert faculty and your fellow students in weekly Zoom sessions. During this 8 week program you will experience the following:
- CMP exam overview and test-taking tips
- 9+ hours of recorded lectures covering all 9 CMP-IS Domains, facilitated by current CMPs
- Clarification of complex material and concepts
- Support and encouragement from facilitators and peers
