Memorial Service for Bill Bruemmer

Saturday, January 28th, 2023 Visitation will begin at 10:00am with a memorial service to follow at 11:30am. Rockwell Church, 93 Midway Drive, Virginia, MN. Bill was a vital part of our church family and he will be missed. We celebrate that he is with Jesus now. This Sunday’s Message “Imperfect Family Life”

Recently we've been hearing about Prince Harry's controversial book "Spare" where he published how he feels about his imperfect royal family. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, David are a few Bible characters that had dysfunctional families. It's interesting to think that Jesus grew up in a family with younger brothers and sisters in an unusual family situation. Jesus can understand our struggles.

Our family experience can make a positive or negative difference in our lives. No matter how old we are we can still be carrying pain and regret from our family experiences.

Come to Rockwell Church to be encouraged to find help and healing from and/or for your imperfect family life.

Our Annual Church Meeting
will be this Sunday January 29th

We are meeting right after the potluck. If your last name begins with A – L please bring main dish and salad, M – Z please bring main dish and dessert. Circle 2 will be serving.

Members that are unable to attend in person can watch our livestream and get the annual report by email. Please contact staff@rockwell.church or text Pastor Chris if you need help getting access and he will ask someone to get it to you.

Janet and Vickie put the 2022 giving statements in your mail folder or mailed them out. You can also download it from your Realm account. The last part of the Bible verse on the statement got cut off. It should read “But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this? Everything comes from you, and we have given you only what comes from your hand.” 1 Chronicles 29:14 (NIV)

Adult college age and up, there are flyers on the table in the foyer regarding winter retreats for men and women at Miracle Bible Camp.

Iron Range Youth Worship Night for grades 7 – 12 is today, January 29th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm. This will be held at the Hibbing High School Auditorium. Please see poster on Library window or youth room for more information.

Annual “Father – Daughter Ball” will be Friday, February 3rd or February 4th from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. More information on Library window.

There will be an Adult Pie Social on February 12th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Please bring a pie to share. We will have a movie and popcorn for the younger kids downstairs.

We have been chosen to be Life 97.3 Church of the Week: Our message for Sunday Feb 5th is "A New Song in my Mouth – Soundtrack of a WELL Life (Psalm 40)" and some people from Life 97.3 FM (102.9 in our area) will be our guests at church that Sunday. Their station will be advertising our church on the radio and website from Jan 30th-Feb 5th
