Charles Schulz, "Peanuts"

Welcome, Music Munchers!

This week's piece to munch on is Anton Bruckner's 7th Symphony in E Major. Bruckner was a late-Romantic composer from Austria, and is mostly known for his choral music and symphonies.

His music tends to be very lush and longwinded, which leads to his pieces being very, very long. This symphony is one of his best known, and is performed by the Frankfurt Radio Symphony, with Christoph Eschenbach directing. Eschenbach is also known by some (ahem, ahem) to be Emperor Palpatine's twin brother, who just happens to be musical. Enjoy!
