Thank you for your commitment to providing a Christian education for your child(en), at Abiding Savior. We have worked diligently to make sure the yearly re-enrollment process is as seamless as possible. We use a "Continuous Enrollment" concept for students enrolled in our school which makes yearly re-enrolling simple and efficient for families.
"Continuous Enrollment" assumes that once enrolled, a child will continue their education until graduation from 8th grade. Since most of our families return year after year, this streamlines the enrollment and enrollment process by reducing time and paperwork for parents and staff.
Please note, you do not need to re-enroll your child on Gradelink.

Payment options for the registration fee are included in the "Continuous Enrollment" Registration Fee Agreement form.
If you would like to participate in the "Continuous Enrollment" Raffle (for registration fee discounts and other prizes) please complete the Continuous Enrollment Registration Agreement Form. You can bring it to the school office, or for your convenience, you can return signed via email. The raffle begins on February 1, 2023, and concludes on February 7, 2023.
If you wish to opt-out/withdraw your child(en) from Abiding Savior for the next school year, please send an email to Mrs. Lucas, Principal, with the reason for withdrawing.
Also, don't forget our New Student Referral Program. Refer a new student for the 2023/2024 school year, have the family complete the enrollment process, and receive a $750 credit towards your tuition (restrictions apply, please refer to the New Student Referral Certificate). Abiding Savior elementary school families that refer new families to our Preschool can qualify for a $75 scrip card of their choice.

The Gathering Grounds is looking for volunteers to serve on Sunday mornings. The Gathering Grounds is open on Sundays from 9:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. and also from 11:15 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. It is a wonderful and fun service opportunity.
PARENT-SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
GOVERNANCE Abiding Savior Lutheran Church and School is policy-based. The school is governed by the Leadership Board of Abiding Savior Lutheran Church. The school principal oversees the day-to-day operations of the school and answers the Leadership Board.
SCHOOL-HOME COMMUNICATION
We consider ourselves partners with you in ministering to your child(ren). Therefore, we feel a need to stay in close communication with you about your child(ren) and about the happenings in school in general. We will be using the following regular vehicles to communicate with you. In addition, we will also attempt to maintain communication on an informal basis.
BULL HORN
This newsletter will be available electronically on the last day of each week of school. It will highlight the week’s activities and serve to communicate necessary school information. Occasionally there will also be articles on parenting and other useful topics. This is our primary communication with parents and should be read each week. This newsletter is posted on Gradelink and ASLS mobile app each week.
EMAIL
Schoolwide emails will be sent containing pertinent information and notification of upcoming events
ASLS MOBILE APP
The school provides an app that can be downloaded onto your smartphone. Push notifications will be sent to you through this app.
BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT AND OPEN HOUSE
Back-to-school night and an open house are held each year. These evenings give parents and students an opportunity to visit the classrooms and meet the teachers.
PARENT-TEACHER CONFERENCES
Conferences scheduled for October are required for all students. Conferences scheduled for January are optional unless requested by a parent or teacher. Parents or teachers may request additional conferences throughout the year as needed.
MIDTERM PROGRESS REPORTS
Midterm progress reports are available for students through Gradelink in Grades 3-8.
REPORT CARDS
Report Cards are issued three times a year, at the conclusion of each trimester. Grades can be checked via Gradelink at any time during the school year.
OTHER TEACHER COMMUNICATION
The teachers will report to you in a variety of ways in addition to the scheduled conferences. Access to information and student academic progress is available on an ongoing basis via Gradelink. Each teacher will provide details regarding access. It is the parent’s responsibility to check progress regularly.
