Happy New Year!!
Let’s make 2023 all we need it to be!
We look forward to serving you in 2023 with new products and more pop-ups and how to videos! We are now selling the Candles Kits online for those do it yourselfers! Ok there have been request for our brown sugar scrub. We are planning to bring that back in time for Mother’s Day!
We want to thank those loyal customers that supported us with sales and referrals in 2022. This has been a challenging year, but we made it work with your help. Supply chain issues affect small businesses and while we know we will have to make some changes in 2023 because of rising cost, we will still work hard to service our customers with quality products. We welcome our new customers from the north, south, east, and west and we hope to grow even more in 2023.
I want to thank those that supported the Silent Art project this year. Eboni, who is my daughter, and a deaf young woman in college in DC, has been a wonderful part of Just Jameen with her art cards Posters, and Computer Mouse Pads and creating our Just Jameen Body Butter which is becoming extremely popular. It is a blend made with tea tree oil, coconut oil, shea, natural mineral oils, and organic beeswax. It is wonderful on those winter feet! The unscented body butter makes a wonderful lip balm which we will focus on in this new year.
Our scents of the month for February, YES SCENTS, are "Lick Me All Over (LMAO)" and "H.I.M." "Lick Me All Over (LMAO)" is described as an exotic and seductive, rich fruit aroma and vanilla. "H.I.M." is described as a classic tobacco scent with creamy vanilla, tobacco leaf, and ginger - This is our newest male scent! Both scents are wonderful in a candle, creamy shea, frappe or body butter. Try it in our bath gel and soap as well!

February is Black History Month
and Just Jameen will be busy!
Two events you will want to patronage are:
- Detroit Historic Museum Market Place on Feb 25th.We will have special that day online to celebrate black Art and Ms. Eboni’s 32nd Birthday.
- Monday February 27thWayne County Community College Black History Market Place.

- Just Jameen is doing a private party candle making session. Consider us for your organizations fun events with candle making and pamper events. We plan to have another candle making event before Mother’s Day.

Critical Race Theory, or CRT, is an academic and legal framework that states that systemic racism is part of American society — from education and housing to employment and healthcare. Critical Race Theory recognizes that racism is more than the result of individual bias and prejudice. It is embedded in laws, policies and institutions that uphold and reproduce racial inequalities. According to CRT, societal issues like Black Americans’ higher mortality rate, outsized exposure to police violence, the school-to-prison pipeline, denial of affordable housing, and the rates of the death of Black women in childbirth are not unrelated anomalies.

ELLP will be a collective training program geared towards business and finance development in the Arts and Entrepreneurial collaborations geared toward Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Blind/Low Vision in the community.
