Dear ILSW Families,

If you haven't heard, the roads are slick right now, but crews are working as I type this to improve the roads for the morning commute.

When contemplating closing school or a late start, I always strive to give families as much of a heads up as I can. Below you will find the plan for Monday, 1/30/23.

I have a Plan A and a Plan B. Please read carefully.

As of right now, we will be using Plan A. If I have to move to Plan B, I will let you know by 7:30am.

Plan A (No Before Care and No Before School Activities):
Before school care AND ALL before school activities are cancelled.
No students can arrive on campus until 8:55am.
K-8 Classes will start at 9:20am (1 hour later than normal)
Preschool classes will start at 9:30am (1 hour later than normal)


Plan B ( Cancel School: I hope I do not have to use this plan):
I will be driving around the extended area tomorrow morning. I will close school if I do not feel like the majority of the roads leading to school are ok. Clearly, I can't help it if your subdivision did not treat the roads, but I will be looking at N, Z, Hopewell, etc.
I will call off school by 7:30am (2 hours before our late start time) if need be.

Please do not reply to this message with any questions, as I will not be checking my messages until I am at school tomorrow morning.
