Veterans Affairs Committee
The Veterans Affairs Committee received a check for $1000 from the South Denver VFW Post 2461. They are distributing funds to organizations that serve Veterans. They had funds as a result of the sale of their building since their post closed. A thank you letter will be sent to them along with inviting their members to consider joining the Mile Hi Veterans. This was truly a grand surprise to receive these funds.
Vaccine Bus:
We will once again be supporting a Vaccine Bus for our members and the community. See flyer below.

Vivian Griego would like to coordinate the MHV making fidget mats again for VA homes/hospital.
Fidget mats help with dementia anxiety, they are a wonderful for occupying a busy mind and promoting a calming effect.
So, start gathering fabric, ribbon, yarn, zippers, beads and bells. We will be scheduling some time (late February/early March) to make fidget mats for our veterans at VA homes and hospitals and need your time and talent. Call and let me know you can help!! Let’s have some fun while doing something to help our Veterans!! Vivian (303) 918-4061
