New Adult Small Group

We have a new adult small group kicking off on Thursday evenings hosted by Nathan and Kristen Donald in the area around Anson, Texas. If you live North of Abilene and don't yet belong to a small group then please consider joining this new opportunity. Our Young Adult Ministry at Broadview is kicking off a new Sunday morning small group at the 9:30 hour for 19-29 year olds. Wade Wilkinson will be leading the Sunday morning small group alongside a ministry team to help young adults at Broadview find community and grow in their walk with the Lord.
Regardless of where you find yourself in the journey of. young adulthood, this envioronment will be a safe place to process your questions and grow your confidence in the Lord and your spiritual beliefs. Please join us on Sunday mornings at 9:30!
Disciple Now
February 10th-12th
Join other 6th-12th graders from Broadview Baptist Church and other student ministries from around Abilene for this years area wide Disciple Now at South Side Baptist Church February 10-12th.
The event is 30 dollars per student and registration deadline is January 22nd to ensure proper t-shirt size. Check in will start 6PM Friday at South Side Baptist Church. We will meet at Broadview at 6PM and drive to South Side from there.
The first session kicks off at 7 PM. Please download the parental consent form below to turn in along with your registration.
Join other men from Broadview for a Saturday morning breakfast at 7:00am. Start your weekend off right with some fellowship and truth from God's Word. Our men's ministry will provide breakfast burritos to everyone who attends. Please RSVP so we have a proper count for food.
Painting With A Sister
February 11th | 2:00-5:00pm
Gathering Place
Our women’s ministry will be hosting an event unlike any before entitled “Painting With a Sister.” In this creative experience a professional artist will guide participants in a painting project that they can do at their station.
Attendees will keep their artwork as a keepsake.
The cost is $35 per person. (This covers supplies and instruction). The last day to register is February 1st! There is a class limit of 35 participants.
Broadview families, join us for "Love You to Pizzas", a family Valentine's party on February 5th, from 5:00 to 6:00PM. We will enjoy pizza, crafts, and a story about God's amazing love! The event will take place in the Education Building.

Join the Joy Ministry for a night of food, fellowship and fun. Pictures and punch will be offered in the Gathering Place from 5:30-6:30pm. Afterwards, dinner and entertainment will be held in the Education Building.
This is an evening for anyone aged 50 and up to celebrate the special love we have been given in Christ, the Lord of our hearts.
Tickets are $25 per couple.
Honored guests (widow/widower) are invited to attend for free.
All attendees will need a ticket to attend the event. Tickets are located in the Gathering Place.

Book of Philippians
Dustin Malone will be teaching through the book of Philippians on Wednesday nights at 6:15 in the Sanctuary. Dustin is studying at the Master's Seminary (Fort Worth Campus) and has surrendered to God's call on his life to serve in pastoral ministry.
Philippians is a wonderful New Testament epistle that highlights the JOY we have in Christ. Each week will be a mid-week "recharge" from the Holy Spirit through God's Word. Please make plans to join and put God at the center of your work week.

Reality Apologetics Conference
February 24-25 | Dallas, TX
#RealityApologetics is coming to Dallas, Texas. It’s time to examine the foundation of our faith, because a strong faith requires a strong foundation. If you don’t have a Christianity anchored in what’s true, you will always be at the mercy of your doubts.
This conference equips students to navigate doubts by seeking answers to their toughest questions. Because when you seek answers, you find truth. If you can’t give a “why” to your faith, you won’t be able to give a “why not” to your doubts.
Join us at our two-day #RealityApologetics conference, and discover why Christianity is the best explanation for the way things are.
All participants will need to pay $50 towards the price of the conference. This will cover the ticket. Broadview will cover the cost of hotel and meals.

Come hang out with other Men and use your skills to help with a service project from 7AM - 11:00AM. We will meet at the church at 7AM for a quick breakfast followed by the project. The actual project is TBD, but it is looking like we might be painting one of the annex buildings.
Our Hands & Feet Ministry serves people who have a need related to their home (single-dwelling) that they cannot do themselves or cannot afford to have done. These projects will be performed for home-owners at no cost. It's a way for us to bless people with the love of Jesus in a practical and meaningful way.
If you know someone for whom this would make a positive impact please let them know. If you have a project, fill out the submission form linked below (or in the church office.) Volunteers will also need to register so we have a proper count for meals and distribution of projects.
Those who would like to participate but cannot serve on these dates can do through a gift to the ministry that will offset project expenses. Write Hands & Feet on the memo of your physical or online gifts.
