PEACEAnimals Online Auction February 5 – 13

Each year, PEACEAnimals does an online auction as one of our primary fundraisers.  We are very excited about this year’s auction and the wonderful support of our community by giving us these certificates.
We have restaurants, golf, hotels, spas, adventures, a chocolate factory, art, and more. The items are too numerous to mention here. I hope this makes you curious and that you want to go to www.32auctions.com/peaceanimals2023 first thing on the morning of February 5th and get your bid in early and keep bidding. After all, you are helping in our mission to spay/neuter as many animals in the Bay as possible.
In 2022 we sterilized 7,505 animals thanks to donor and auction funds raised! Please help us this year as well. It’s an easy site to use and every item bought helps us. Our vet team is outstanding, and they love their jobs. Your financial support assures they can continue to help our animals.
It is a win-win. You get useful and fun items to purchase and our animals in the Bay of Banderas live better and healthier lives. THANK YOU in advance for your support. Have Fun!
Clare

Altavela

The clinic this week in Altavela was an incredible success.  Mireya hosted the clinic again at her home.  She is an amazing host and is the key to our successful clinics in Altavela by promoting and reaching out to their community and helping with registering and intake of animals. The dedicated crew of volunteers was amazing. During this time of year, there are so many visitors from out of town and abroad that enjoy helping PEACEAnimals and our work to improve the lives of animals and pet owners preventing unwanted animals and overpopulation. Volunteers this week included Darlene, Eileen, Peter, Shalimar, Rebecca, Louise, Vanessa, and many others who stayed around to help while their animals were being treated. Altavela has become a regular location for PEACEAnimals clinics and the community has become aware of the benefits of spaying and neutering pets.  Clinics are highly anticipated with more and more people attending each time. We are grateful to the vet team of Anthony, Leslie, and Pacheco for their continued hard work and dedication making for such safe outcomes considering the tremendous numbers of animals they are tending to. Everyone should be aware that they are not just responsible for surgeries, but they are also handling loading and unloading, clean up, organization and training of volunteers, registrations, and administration.
Amazing job team!

The Caloso clinic was a total success. Ángela was the person who carried out the logistics of this clinic.  She told us that owners of 200 animals were in contact for an appointment, to which the plan now is to carry out a 3.5-day clinic to provide the service that is obviously required in the area. There was a good group of volunteers, the day was excellent and enjoyable.
