Launch of the 3rd Communiqué on ISSD in Africa
The Third Communiqué on Integrated Seed Sector Development in Africa presents guiding perspectives for advancing seed sector transformation in Africa.
The Communiqué and eight accompanying Briefs are built on insights emerging from three years of ISSD Africa action research and partners' own learning and experiences. The Communiqué is a direct result of insights shared and discussed in the recent ISSD Africa Synthesis Conference in Kigali, Rwanda.
During the event, you will hear from the authors and various speakers about the process of developing the Communiqué and their hopes for how the Communiqué can support further collaboration on seed sector transformation.
As the closing event for this phase of ISSD Africa, the event also synthesises key outcomes from ISSD Africa's eight action research topic teams. Topic leads will share about the activities, learning and outputs from engagement in 14 countries.
