Events in local sustainability this February
Farm days

The farm is waking up from the bitter cold of the past couple of months, and there are bulbs coming up and buds fattening.  Plenty to do to get ready for spring.

We meet at the Community Farm or the Community Orchard in Poundbury on
Sunday afternoons at around 2pm

and also on

Wednesday mornings at 10.30

We have some more apple trees to prune, will continue turning compost, and will make a start on tidying up the orchard.  We still have some trees to plant out.  The poultry enclosures need moving to fresh grass every week.  We'll also start thinking about planting some seeds in the polytunnel.  Something for everyone!

All welcome!

Wassailing - no evil spirits left in our orchard...
Pruning the apple trees
Amazingly, the green on the outside of the polytunnel comes off very easily!
