It's the Wednesday Email!Dear Church- I believe that Pastor Nathan cautioned you all that I tend to be “old school” in some of my habits. One result is that I have begun posting announcements on the bulletin board! I don’t always have room in the worship bulletin or the ability to put the actual flyers into the Wednesday email although the information about the events is included. Schedule change: Book Club will not meet next week on February 7th. They will next meet on February 14th and will be discussing Chapters 2 and 3. Grace and Peace, Linda

And Serving Beyond |
Iowans for Ukrainians Fair Volunteer Request | Katie Seifert of Iowans for Ukrainians reached out to see if we would like to have a table at their fair February 24th at Fox Brewing from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Katie says they are looking for local religious organizations to participate who can share community resources with the Ukrainian refugees. If you are interested, contact Katie directly at kcseifert108@gmail.com or Sue Broadbooks at sbroadbooks@gmail.com. Iowans for Ukrainians is a 501c3 non-profit founded and based in Iowa which provides help to Ukrainians as they face the present war. While they provide funds to Ukrainians in Ukraine, this fair is focused on those who are newly arrived (refugees) to Iowa. They are seeking an array of local experts who can provide valuable information about navigating life in Iowa and are inviting various religious organizations because they provide such critical services to people. For more information, see Iowansforukrainians.org, and on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Iowans4Ukrainians/ |
