Special One-Day Wedding Event on Valentine's Day
Niagara Falls City Hall & History Museum


Take the plunge this Valentine's Day! Prospective newlyweds are invited to book their civil wedding ceremony on February 14th and enjoy a unique Valentine’s Day-themed wedding experience. 💗

A limited number of hour-long time slots are available at City Hall and the Niagara Falls History Museum. Complimentary Valentine’s Day programming includes:

  • Valentine’s Day-themed flowers and décor
  • A complimentary sparkling beverage toast for the couple
  • A photographer to capture a memory from your ceremony

Prospective newlyweds can visit niagarafalls.ca for more details on the civil wedding ceremony process.

Couples can arrange their time slot in advance of February 14th by contacting the Office of the City Clerk at clerks@niagarafalls.ca or 905-356-7521 ext. 0 while space remains.

S'more Fun Days are Back!
Fun for the whole family!

Join us for s'mores, hot chocolate, children's activities and more for this year's S'more Fun Days. The City of Niagara Falls will offer three events for the whole family to enjoy. 

The events are free of charge and will take place on the following dates (weather permitting):

  • Skate Night 
    • When: Saturday, February 11, 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm 
    • Where: John N Allan Park, 6980 Kalar Road
    • Be sure to bring your own skates and equipment! 
  • Outdoor Fun
    • When: Monday, February 20, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
    • Where: MacBain Community Centre, 7150 Montrose Road
  • Tobogganing
    • When: Saturday, March 4, 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
    • Where: Firemen's Park, 2275 Dorchester Road
    • Bring your toboggan!

Enjoy complimentary hot chocolate and s'mores while supplies last. These events are weather dependent.

Join in on the long weekend fun!

The City of Niagara Falls is hosting a variety of activities for this year’s Family Day weekend.

Gather those nearest and dearest to you for some long weekend fun at the MacBain Community Centre, Gale Centre Arena and the Niagara Falls History Museum. 

Family Day Weekend activities include: 

  • Dinosaur Detectives:
    • Stay up to date on the latest dinosaur discoveries, learn how to identify dinosaur fossils, and more!
       
  • Earth Rangers:
    • Explore biodiversity and habitat conservation with the Earth Rangers' live animal shows.
       
  • Family Day Skating:
    • Public skating for the whole family to enjoy. 
       
  • Scoop McCoy's Kids and Family Magician:
    • An interactive show with the hilarious Scoop McCoy! 
       
  • Art Workshops:
    • Character creations with the Niagara Falls Art Gallery. 
       
  • Drop-in activities:
    • Pop by for family-focused drop-in activities at the MacBain Community Centre.

Check out the latest exhibit at the Niagara Falls History Museum!

The Niagara Falls History Museum welcomes Niagara artist Wayne Moore’s “Tool of Tools: Niagara” collection to the Museum’s Ontario Power Generation Gallery.

This empowering collection encourages authentic conversations, reflecting on the most frequently symbolized components of the human body and interaction. 

The exhibition is running until Saturday, April 8.
