Greetings from The Song Gardeners!

We have a lot of exciting news to share this month. "The Little Things," our new single released on January 11, received glowing reviews and was played on KUOS 92.1 FM in Sedona, Arizona and Peaceful Radio based in the Netherlands. In addition, it was played on One World Music Radio's New Age Radio show which also featured an interview with Mary Gospe. And finally, we earned two award nominations, for our 2022 singles "Present" and "Within" by New Age Notes Radio Music Awards.

Praise for "The Little Things"

“The Little Things,” written by Corrie Dunn, was inspired by the art exhibit of friend and artist Corinne Landphere. Corrie wrote the lyrics and music while reflecting on the little things that bring joy to her life as she sings lead vocals...

"A song from the past, the moon in the night, holding a hand that feels just right…
The stars in the sky, the look in your eyes when you’re happy…”

The music is infused with gospel elements brought to life by Mary Gospe’s soulful harmonies; James Butler’s beautiful piano, bass, and drums; and David Scheibner’s melodious guitar and synths. David also produced and mixed the song which builds to a powerful a cappella section as Corrie and Mary sing:

“It’s the little things that put a smile on my face,
It’s the little things that make this world a better place.”

On the Air

Thank you to Steve & Chrissie Sheppard from One World Music Radio for playing "The Little Things" and interviewing Mary (at one hour in) on their New Age Radio Show #14.The show reached #3 in the global New Age charts! Listen to the full show or just the interview plus song.

Award Nominations

The Song Gardeners are honored to have our song, "Present," nominated for Best New Age Vocal Song and "Within" nominated for Best Chill Groove Song by New Age Notes Radio Music Awards. Winners will be announced March 15, 2023 and judged by f our elite independent judges (Rebekah Eden, Lonnie Park, Louis Anthony deLise, and Cindy Paulos).

Recent Performance

Thank you to our friend, artist Laura Engdahl, for inviting us to perform at the closing reception of her solo art exhibit A TIME & SPACE. We had a great time playing to a large crowd admiring her gorgeous art. Check out Laura's work on her website and follow her on Instagram.
