Part 3 and the final session - Disaster Risk Reduction Goal: GSO's roles in awareness and advocacy, enhancing building codes, early warning systems, and resilience planning will be held on 20 February 2023 03.00 - 06.00 GMT. Part 3 features speakers from GNS Science New Zealand, Geoscience Australia, IOC-UNESCO, Oceans Network Canada, Polish Geological Institute – National Research Institute, Colombia Geological Survey, Addis Ababa University (Ethiopia), Bandung Institute of Technology (Indonesia), Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and OECD.
Panel 5: Awareness and information sharing, Building codes, Risk financing, and DRR planning will be chaired by Steve Hill, Chief Scientist, Geoscience Australia, and Panel 6: Advancing Building codes, Land use planning, and early warning systems will be chaired by Kate Moran, President, Oceans Network Canada.
