I am sitting here on a rainy Friday getting my tax stuff together for the accountant. Hopefully, I will not owe anything. I was surprised at all the miles I put on the 4Runner. Anyway, let's get to some more important stuff like my golf game, just kidding, fishing! I was out twice this week on the Manatawny and both days I had Little Black Stoneflies coming off. I did manage to catch a few on top and some nymphing. The wind didn't help much. Since it is winter, I like fishing in sunny stretches with not too much cover/tree to block the wind. The fish were rising here and there, most of them were a one-hit wonder. You could see the stoneflies skitter across the water with no takers. All in all it was good fishing. I thought it would have been better. I saw a few BWO,'s and I mean a few. I did not get any holdover trout, just wild browns.
I am planning a Zoom Meeting next week sometime. I will send out a notice with an agenda in the next few days. I am open to any discussion topic, so make a suggestion rick@skyblueoutfitters.com
