Spring Zoom Courses

Thursday classes are offered via Zoom only.

Spring In-Person Courses

Friday classes are offered on-site only at the Bard College campus, with the exception of the Zoom sessions of the hybrid courses. Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination, including a booster, will be required to register for ALL in-person classes. For more details, see the "Vaccination Policy" section below.

Off-Friday courses are in-person, and vaccination proof is required.

Spring Hybrid Courses

There are two hybrid courses offered: F2A and F3A. You can sign up for either the Zoom version of this course (F2AZ, F3AZ) or the on-campus version (but not both).

Please make sure you can log into ProClass with your username and password before registration opens. If you have any questions, email techhelp@lli.bard.edu.

Course Registration

Once registration opens on February 23 at 9:00 a.m, log in to ProClass to register for courses on your Wish List or other courses. You can always log in to ProClass from the LLI website under Courses from the main navigation bar. You must scroll through and press all buttons to register for a course. You will receive a confirmation after registration.

Once you have registered for a course that is held via Zoom, LLI session managers will email you the Zoom links to attend courses. You will receive:

The Zoom link about one week prior to the first class,
The Zoom link shortly before each class,
(Optional) Additional information about each class from the course presenter(s) and producer(s).

There are many instructions for using Zoom on the LLI website under Membership > Participating Members.

Vaccination Policy

LLI’s policy regarding COVID-19 is aligned with Bard's. The requirement that all members, presenters, and guests be fully vaccinated and boosted remains in place.

During the spring semester, our plan is to continue with the “mask- friendly” policy that worked well last semester. Anyone who wants to wear a mask on campus is welcome to do so, and presenters can set a mask policy in their own classrooms. In fact, at least three presenters will require that masks be worn in the classroom (Tai Chi, Sherlock Holmes, and China Painting in the Gilded Age); details will be provided in the spring catalog. It is important for members to carry a mask with them in case they need one.

Moreover, out of consideration of others, we ask that no one attend class or any other LLI event if you are feeling unwell, including dealing with a persistent cough, sniffles, or other easily communicable viruses.

Members will not be able to register on ProClass for any in-person class or event until they have presented proof of vaccination, including at least one booster. Vaccinations are not required for classes presented on Zoom only or for the Zoom section of hybrid courses.

If you have not already done so, please email your proof of vaccination, including at least one booster, to registration@lli.bard.edu. You may email a photo or screenshot of either your CDC COVID-19 vaccination card or digital NYS Excelsior Pass. If you previously submitted proof of vaccination, you do not need to resubmit it. Members are reminded to wear their lanyard at all times while on Bard’s campus or at an LLI event off campus.

ProClass Catalog

ProClass shows the spring courses on a search page accessed through the LLI website under the Courses>ProClass Registration Link. You can directly access the search page by clicking on the link below.

Click the Search Button on the left of the page to find courses of interest by time period or course type. The Search page shows details about each course; click the course name to see even more information about a course, including descriptions and instructor bios.

ProClass Wish List

The ProClass Wish List allows you to save the courses of most interest to you so you can quickly register for those courses when registration opens. You must still complete the course registration process for the classes on your Wish List.

To use the Wish List feature:

Log in to ProClass at any time, even before registration opens;
Once you are logged in, use the Search page to display all the courses for the Spring 2023 semester;
Click the red button with the star under any course you want to add to your Wish List;
You can add or delete courses from your Wish List at any time;
Once registration opens, you simply go to your Wish List and register for the courses on your list.
