Hello, Neighbors of the 2nd!

Thank you for placing your trust in me to represent you and your family on Lexington's City Council. I am truly humbled and honored to have this position, and I look forward to working with you! The first 6 weeks in this role have been busy and filled with meetings, introductions to city leaders and neighborhood associations, and learning as much as I can about the programs, projects, and plans that will affect our community in the 2nd. As this "orientation" period continues, I am even more excited to figure out all the ways in which we can work together to make the 2nd District the best place to live, work, and play!
 
Each month, I will share our district's newsletter "Spotlight on the 2nd", in which I hope you will find vital information for you, your family, and neighbors. The newsletter will spotlight important city updates and district information, share district/city events and activities, and celebrate our community! Starting in April newsletter, you will have a chance to nominate a neighbor or event for a Spotlight to our district-wide distribution. So, if there are noteworthy people we should recognize, school/community needs to share, or fun events going on in our District to broadcast District-wide, let me know. You will find four different ways to reach the office at the bottom of the online newsletter. 
 
Lastly, I hope you will share this newsletter with your neighbors and encourage them to sign up to receive it as well.
