ASP3IRE Newsletter
Welcome to Oregon State University’s Advancing Science, Practice, Programming and Policy in Research Translation for Children's Environmental Health (ASP3IRE) Center!
We are proud to be one of six centers in the United States funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) to develop strategies to translate key children’s environmental health research findings to relevant stakeholders.
We are a dedicated, cross-disciplinary team working together to improve children’s health and wellbeing. Our efforts focus on accelerating the adoption of evidence-informed policies, programs, and practices that can reduce harmful environmental exposures where children live, learn, and play.

Madeline Swint joined the ASP3IRE Center Twitter Coding Project June 2022. Madeline completed her degree in Kinesiology while working as a Nursing Assistant. She also spent three summers fighting fires with the Oregon Department of Forestry!
In January Madeline moved on to bigger and better things. She moved to Colorado and has been accepted to nursing school with the goal of becoming an ICU nurse. She will be missed! Good luck Madeline!
