Student Reactions on the First Round of Co-Presidential Elections
Following the first round of voting, four Co-President pairs have been chosen to continue to the next round: Ryan Chen and Sakina Cotton, Nor DeHoog and Ryan Lam, Allie Encarnacion and Daniel Romero, and Jacob Kaiser and Emelia Yang. Apsara A. Iyer, Andover Alum and Former Phillipian News Director Elected 137th President of “Harvard Law Review”
Aspara Iyer '12 has just been elected as the 137th president of the the "Harvard Law Review". Following her career in The Phillipian as a News Director, Iyer has continued her path in journalism through the Harvard publication and has faith from her peers to uphold her new role as President. Girls Basketball Rebounds from Loss, Kennedy Herndon ’23 Breaks All-Time Scoring Record
Girls Basketball had a successful weekend with two wins. Additionally, Co-Captain Kennedy Herndon '23 broke the record for the most career points scored at Andover. The team looks forward to the final games in the upcoming weeks. Click here to read more about Girls Basketball this week.

Head Coach Paul Murphy ’84 Motivates Team Through “Do it for Susie” 
Andover Girls Swimming and Diving Head Coach Paul Murphy leads with a flexible mindset and focuses on individually connecting with every athlete. In addition, Murphy uses the motto 'Do it for Susie' to help encourage the team to constantly work on their skills. Click here to read more about Murphy's role as a coach.

Black Arts Dance: A Non-Affinity Celebration of Black Culture and Music
The Black Arts Dance was held in Paresky Commons last Saturday, and students danced to music by Black artists such as Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, and Blueface. This non-affinity event encouraged Andover students to celebrate Black Art on a more personal level. Click here to read more about how the event was organized.

New Theater Producers Organize Musical Theater Cabaret as Their First Show
Last Friday, audience members gathered in the George Washington Hall’s theater classroom for the Musical Theater Cabaret. Beginning with the song “You’ll Be Back” from the musical, “Hamilton,” performers showcased acts from a variety of renowned musicals and movies such as “Wicked,” “Heathers,” and “Rapunzel.”  Click here to read more about the Musical Theater Cabaret.
